Experience
After choosing teaching as my career path, I have been reminded countless times of why I chose this as my vocation and why I love it so much. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Missouri State University in Biology with minors in Spanish and Analytical Chemistry. Since I made the decision to go into teaching, I realized that the more time I spend tutoring, the better I become at teaching, so I am eagerly pursuing as many opportunities to tutor as possible. Today, I am in the process of obtaining a graduate certificate from Missouri State University in TESOL to teach English to students who speak other languages. Additionally, I am pursuing a Master of Arts at the same institution, also in TESOL. For many years now, I have been tutoring students in science and math, which are two of the subjects I am most proficient at teaching. I am also very experienced at preparing students to take various college admission tests, including the ACT. I am fully committed to making sure my students excel on these admissions tests, so they can experience the same wonderful education I did. Outside of academia, I love to read and play video games.
